Uncovered Documents Show the FDA and CDC Have Exposed Infants to Dangerous Mercury Levels in Vaccines Since 1999

While more and more Americans are becoming increasingly skeptical of the current vaccination schedule in the United States and the enormous influential power wielded by the pharmaceutical industry, most are still willing to trust the industry with their loved one’s health.

New findings from Robert F. Kennedy Jr. ‘s World Mercury Project may change that sentiment for some people, however, as it has been shown according to newly uncovered documents that two of the largest agencies charged with protecting our health have been knowingly exposing infants to dangerous levels of mercury in vaccines, far in excess of federally established safe levels, since 1999.

Mercury In Far Excess of Federal Safety Guidelines

According to a new article posted on EcoWatch from the World Mercury Project, the documents in question show that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have known since 1999 that infant vaccines contained mercury much greater than what is determined to be safe as documented in federal guidelines.

The documents, which can be viewed here, were obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request and were created by a FDA consulting toxicologist. They reportedly show how federal regulators concealed the dangerous impacts and lied to the public.

It all stems from the 1997 passage of the FDA Modernization Act, a provision of which required the FDA to compile a list of drugs that “contain intentionally introduced mercury compounds, and provide a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the mercury compounds on the list,” according to the Act.

In response to the Act, manufacturers reported the use of thimerosal, a mercury-based preservative, in more than 30 licensed vaccines.

In order to help keep the public and specifically United States infants safe, the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) was responsible for adding up the cumulative exposure to this toxin, which has the potential to cause serious harm.

A simple calculation for safety was expected to be undertaken but, astonishingly, it was never performed by either the FDA or the CDC, the article states.

The end result was that a six-month infant who received thimerosal-preserved vaccines following the recommended CDC vaccine schedule would have received a “jaw-dropping 187.5 micrograms of mercury,” the article notes.

After further studying the issue, the FDA and CDC chose to conceal what they found, instead of alerting the public of shockingly high mercury levels in infants’ blood as much as 12 times what is considered to be the mercury poisoning threshold (see the article for full information and calculations of the amounts each infant likely received).

Emails between government officials and experts assigned to study the issue show a pattern of cover-up, neglect, and deceit that put the health of millions of U.S. infants at high risk, all in the name of protecting its own vaccine enterprise.
