Are you joining one of the many March Against Monsanto events on May 23rd, 2015? If so, the Organic Consumers Association (and March Against Monsanto) are asking for your help.
The OCA put together packets designed especially for the May 23rd event, which focus on this simple, but powerful, message: Monsanto Makes Us Sick. And we’re offering them free of charge to anyone organizing or participating in a March Against Monsanto event.
The packet will include our latest Monsanto Makes Us Sick campaign leaflet, poster and sticker, plus our Millions Against Monsanto leaflet and sticker. Due to postage costs, packets will only be mailed to U.S. addresses. Offer good while supplies last.
This year’s May 23 March Against Monsanto is expected to once again draw millions of protesters to the streets as part of a global event to raise awareness and to speak with the general public about what the St. Louis based agrochemical and GMO giant is doing to our planet.
And we’ve got plenty to talk about. Last month the World Health Organization (WHO) declared glyphosate, the key ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide, a probable human carcinogen.
That didn’t stop Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-Kan.) from reintroducing the DARK (Deny Americans the Right to Know) Act, an industry written bill (H.R.1599) designed to stomp out states’ right to pass mandatory GMO labeling laws.
Not to mention Hillary Clinton, an official supporter of Monsanto and GMO crops, has thrown her hat into the ring for President.
Monsanto Makes Us Sick. Literally. We want you to help OCA take this message to the streets on Saturday, May 23.
